Rich Gavin
I am former member of the US Coast Guard, having served from 1995 to 2001. During that time, I gained valuable experience and developed a strong sense of discipline and dedication. After leaving the service, I went on to become the supervisor of the operating room at Walter Reed Medical Center during operation iraqi freedom (OIF) and operation enduring freedom (OEF). My leadership skills and expertise in managing medical operations were instrumental in providing quality care to injured servicemen and women. Following my time at Walter Reed, I transitioned into the medical sales field and spent 10 years as a senior sales representative for Medtronic's neurological division. During this time, I honed my skills in building relationships with healthcare professionals and providing them with innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes. In 2011, I co-founded a home infusion pharmacy company based in Ridgewood, NJ. As the chief operating officer, I have been instrumental in establishing our presence in the north east region and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care. Our focus is on helping patients alleviate pain and spasticity, enabling them to live a better quality of life. I am passionate about making a positive impact in our community and improving the lives of those in need. I am excited to utilize my knowledge and experience to help assist Heroic Path to Light to spreading their message and gain recognition so we can heal, enlighten and stop suicided/depression in a community where hope has been lost and options for help are far out of reach.
