Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson is the founder and Guiding Puma of THE YURAQ PUMA LINEAGE. He is a shaman and plant medicine curandero, sharing in lineages that connect him with the traditions and shamanic cultures of North, Central and South America.

His decades long work with shamanism, plant medicines, altered states of consciousness, and the exploration of the, have inspired him to claim the edges of consciousness as a place where powerful transformation and profound insights can occur.

Kevin’s shamanic work is a fusion of styles, heavily influenced by indigenous traditions from North, Central and South America, with an emphasis on Q’ero wisdom, The Andean Cosmo-Vision. and Toltec Philosophy. He is recognized by many shamans and medicine people as a bridge between the physical and spirit worlds, light and dark, youth and eldership, ancient wisdom and modernity. A life-long student of many types of shamanism, he continues to study with several  teachers and wisdom keepers

Kevin works from an animistic philosophy, and lives with a profound connection and reverence for nature. With deep family roots in the badlands of the American southwest, his life-long search for knowledge and understanding has taken him to some of the worlds most remote, mysterious and hard to reach sacred sites, mountains, deserts, caves, and canyons. An avid seeker and adventurer, he has also traveled extensively, experiencing the history, art and belief systems of many cultures around the globe.
